Music on, outside world off.
The Monolith™ M1060C is the new all-rounder among studio headphones. These headphones have been completely redesigned and, with the new symmetrical magnet architecture, offer an incredibly professional sound experience with super lightweight comfort.
Hear only what you want to hear.
The new completely revised design offers you incomparable wearing comfort thanks to the large ear cushions made of artificial leather and the padded headband, which makes hours of studio and listening sessions possible without any problems. The new technical architecture also brings with it industry-leading audio isolation, so that external noises stay outside and internal noises stay inside. This means you can completely focus on your music even in slightly busier environments, without disturbing other people.
The audio drivers of tomorrow.
With the planar audio drivers, Monolith completely revolutionises the individual adaptation of your sound experience. The new driver is tuned from scratch and exclusively to the new symmetrical magnetic structure, which allows the planar driver to use the closed housing much more efficiently. This ensures significantly less distortion, improves linearity many times over and offers incomparable spatial imaging in a closed housing.

The sound is incredible, the bass line and the sub bass will literally make you jump on the sofa, you will find bass you didn't know existed in your music. These are the positive things, now we come to the less positive ones, the headband is the worst thing, heavy, ugly and badly adjustable. The cable, too long and of low quality. But the really unbearable thing is to choose UPS as a partner, it should be the top but it is literally the worst possible choice.
luckily the sound is great
They sound really really good for their price but the headband is something they must fix, it's just fine really..
Sound wise, there is very little to fault these. My first set of planar headphones and they compare favourably with my Sennheiser HD660S. They may be low impedance but these phones benefit from an amp. Even my Ifi Zen Dac V2 benefited from another amplification stage. Build quality isn't the best, my first set were returned as they had some build issues. They certainly don't feel the same quality as my other headphones (Senns, Grado and AKG). They are comfortable enough, but they are big, and don't clamp that tightly so are for home use only. Even with moving your head around they don't feel too stable. Also for closed back they do leak sound into the environment a fair bit. I'm giving them a 5/5 based on the sound quality and price. Would love to see the M1570C over in Europe, now I have a taste for planars.
Sounds amazing, undistorted and big, vocals are special and very serious about, bass is big and broad, mids are very nice but some more expensive headphones separates instruments better, treble is the weak point (I'm a treble man but at least is very smooth), well played with THX AAA 887 and Gustard X16 plays very nice. I do wonder how much times will be better the M1570c as soon as they drop in Europe :)
Great from monoprice! Actually i liked it more than Audeze LCD-XC 2021 even if that's it a bit more detailed, guess the wood cups on M1060c makes the difference, also i prefer it to HE6seV2. That's say a lot! 0 distorsion unlike many headphones, and, if they will make an HE1000V2 type of headphones without distortion i'm done.
