The Monolith™ M1070 uses a newly developed 106 mm planar driver with double linear magnetic field symmetry. The driver was completely developed for the M1070 and uses the full range of magnetic fields to create a completely new sound experience. As a result, the speakers achieve an incomparable sound width. Whether it's delicate, receptive highs or punchy, deep basses, the newly developed driver ensures a grandiosely wide sound experience.

Amazing cans

Hi guys,M1070 are very good headphones,i use them for producing/mixing/mastering purpose and i can say that i can use them right only with eq correction (Sienna in my case). I feel some "bump" in the high frequencies (8 khz and above) thats a little disturbing and need correction for a long use.
Clarity is good,separation between instruments is incredible.
Ps between 150/300 hz i can feel a very little "mud",but low end is incredible

I think you should focus to have a flatter response,mixer and mastering engineer would appreciate that,you sell amazing products and very useful for audio engineering works.

Really great headphones when EQ:ed

Without EQ not for me especially because of its quite dark sound signature and somewhat restrained subbass. If I were a younger smooth sound loving person I would've appriciated that, but now I need a bit lifted highs. The hefty weight of these babies actually doesn't affect me at all. Nice padding aside the headband is a flimsy wobbling story and was unsurprisingly expected to be that way based on my research from reading reviews. So much better than M1060C though. Earpads are really big and soft with good fit. As initially noted impressive sound with EQ. You can get massive bass if you want that as well as crisp highs and well expressed midrange. I really tried to like them without EQ, but once an EQ:er you'll never go back. Final word: If you want a pair of decent planars with great potential for a reasonable amount of money - don't hesitate to hit the add-to-basket-button.
